In Own Words:
I am one of the proud founders and charter members of Columbus Curling Club in Columbus, OH. Back in 2004, starting on rented hockey ice, 54 brave curlers took to the ice, and now, 10 years later, thru the generosity of our members and of so many friends from our extended curling family, we have our own dedicated curling facility with nearly 200 members. I am told that we became the first newly formed, dedicated curling rink in the U.S. in 20 years. I like to think that in some small way we have changed curling in our country by showing all of the newly burgeoning arena curling clubs that there is a plan that can lead to a dedicated curling facility.
