By Connor Simms, #13 World-Ranked Niklas Edin with Oskar Eriksson at third, Rasmus Wrana and Christoffer Sundgren on the front end, are set to start their 2025-2026 campaign in Baden, Switzerland. After battling some injuries last season, Edin fell in the World Rankings. Also, coming off their lowest finish at the World Championships in years. The 7-time world champion and 3-time Olympic medalist will have a chance to defend their Olympic title. During the summer, Edin was selected to represent Sweden at the Milano Cortina 2026 Olympics. Niklas himself making his fifth straight appearance. Wrana was also selected for the Mixed Doubles discipline with his sister Isabella Wrana. A couple of days ago, via their Social Media pages, they released their season schedule. Starting their season off in Baden, Switzerland, at the Baden Masters. They return to this event after playing in it last season, where they finished in third place after losing to Switzerland's Yannick Schwaller in the semi-finals. They kick off the event with Scotland's Kyle Waddel at 8:30 pm Central European Time (CET) (2:30 pm Eastern Time) on Thursday evening. On Friday, they face Yannick Schwaller at 11:00 am CET (5:00 am Eastern Time). They finish the round robin on Saturday with games against Switzerland's Jan Iseli at 8:00 am CET (2:00 am Eastern Time) and Scotland's Orrin Carson at 3:00 pm CET (9:00 am Eastern Time).
