Muirhead finished 5-1 in the 32 team Canad Inns Women's Classic qualifying round, held October 17 - 20, 2019 at the Portage Curling Club in Portage La Prairie, Canada. In their opening game, Muirhead defeated Chrissy Cadorin (St. Thomas, ON) 8-1, then won 6-4 against Seina Nakajima (Nagano, JPN) and 6-4 against Jamie Sinclair (Chaska, MN) to advance to a A-Qualifier game where they lost 9-8 against Laura Walker (Edmonton, AB). Muirhead responded with a 6-2 win over EunJung Kim (Uiseong, KOR) to advance to the B-Qualifier where they 7-1 against Tracy Fleury (East St. Paul, MB) to advance to the playoff round. in their final qualifying round match.
 
Muirhead earned 34.186 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the Canad Inns Women's Classic, remaining in 11th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with a net gain of 14.575 after improving upon their best so far this season. Muirhead ranks 7th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 131.165 points earned so far this season.
