Brad Gushue (St. John's, NL) won 5-4 over Niklas Edin (Karlstad, SWE) in the Final of the Boost National, held October 4 - 9, 2022 in North Bay, Ontario. To advance to the championship game, Gushue won 11-0 over Korey Dropkin (Duluth, MN) in the semifinals of the 2022 Boost National in North Bay, Ontario; and won 9-6 over Michael Brunner (Bern, SUI) in the quarterfinals. of the 2022 Boost National in North Bay, Ontario;
 
Gushue finished 4-0 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Gushue defeated Glenn Howard (Penetanguishene, ON) 7-6, then won 8-6 against Kevin Koe (Calgary, AB) and 5-3 against Brendan Bottcher (Calgary, AB). Gushue won 5-3 against Colton Flasch (Saskatoon , SK) in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the Boost National Championship title, Gushue earned 75.000 world rankings points along with the $33,000CDN first prize cheque, remaining in 1st place overall on the World Ranking Standings with a net gain of 2.89 after improving upon their best so far this season. Gushue ranks 6th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 96.250 points earned so far this season.
