Jacobs won 5-4 against Jason Gunnlaugson (Winnipeg, MB) in their final qualifying round match.
 
With their runner-up finish at the GSOC Masters, Jacobs take home 66.815 world rankings points along with the $20,000CDN prize, remaining in 1st place overall on the World Ranking Standings with a net gain of 21.526 after improving upon their best so far this season. Jacobs ranks 2nd overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 118.507 points earned so far this season.
