Logan Gray (Stirling, SCO) won 5-4 over Oskar Eriksson (Lit, SWE) in the Final of the Mercure Perth Masters, held January 2 - 5, 2014 in Perth, Scotland. To advance to the championship game, Gray won 6-3 over Kyle Smith (Perth, SCO) in the semifinals of the 2014 Mercure Perth Masters in Perth, Scotland; and won 4-2 over Pascal Hess (Zug, SUI) in the quarterfinals. of the 2014 Mercure Perth Masters in Perth, Scotland;
Gray finished 5-1 in the 32-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Gray defeated Andrey Drozdov (Moscow, RUS) 5-3, then won 5-4 against Peter de Cruz (Geneva, SUI). Gray went on to lose 7-3 against Mike McEwen (Winnipeg, MB). Gray responded with a 7-4 win over Aku Kauste (Hyvinkaa, FIN). Gray won 3-2 against Sven Michel (Adelboden, SUI), then won 5-1 against Thomas Ulsrud (Oslo, NOR) in their final qualifying round match.
For winning the Mercure Perth Masters Championship title, Gray earned 25.560 world rankings points along with the $10,491CDN first prize cheque, moving up 14 spots the World Ranking Standings into 31st place overall with 64.229 total points. Gray ranks 19th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 54.135 points earned so far this season.
