Martin won 8-7 against Selena Sturmay (Edmonton, AB), then won 9-3 against Lorraine Schneider (Regina , SK) to advance to a C-Qualifier game where they lost 9-3 against Irene Schori (Zürich, SUI) in their final qualifying round match.
 
Martin earned 5.914 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins, moving up 149 spots the World Ranking Standings into 191st place overall with 5.914 total points. Martin ranks 161st overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 5.914 points earned so far this season.
