In their opening game, Cross lost 1-0 to Steve Mackey (Calgary, AB), droppimg another game, 9-3 to Pat Simmons (Davidson, SK) where Cross responded with a 6-4 win over Scott Cruickshank (Medicine Hat, AB). Cross went on to lose 6-3 against Warren Hassall (Lloydminster, AB) in their final qualifying round match.
 
. For week 6 of the event schedule, Cross did not improve upon their best events, dropping from 141st to 147th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with 7.720 total points. Cross ranks 146th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 1.000 points earned so far this season.
