Jacobs Ready for Kelowna 2025 Brier
![]() Alberta's Brad Jacobs (photo: GSOC/Anil Mungal) opens the 2025 Montana's Brier on Saturday afternoon against Yukon's Thomas Scoffin in Kelowna, British Columbia. By Connor Simms, #2 in the current Canadian Team Ranking System (CTRS) Brad Jacobs with Marc Kennedy at third, Brett Gallant and Ben Hebert on the front end look to add another Brier Title to their individual resumes. Jacobs will look to add his second Brier title, winning in 2013 as a skip. Kennedy will look to add his fourth Brier Title, winning with the Old Kevin Koe rink in 2016 and the Kevin Martin rink twice. Gallant will look for his fifth title, winning four times with the previous Brad Gushue rink in 2017, 2018, 2020, and 2022. Hebert will also look for his fifth title, having won with Kevin Koe in 2019 and 2016 and also winning those two years with Kevin Martin. They open the 2025 Montana's Brier against Yukon's Thomas Scoffin on Saturday at 2:30 pm Mo2:30 pmTime (MT). On Sunday they face Northwest Territories Aaron Bartling at 7:30 pm MT7:30 pmnday, they will take on Prince Edward Island's Tyler Smith at 2:30 pm 2:30 pmesday, they have a two-game day as they take on Saskatchewan's Rylan Kleiter at 9:30 am 9:30 amova Scotia's Owen Purcell at 7:30 pm 7:30 pmdnesday, they face Ontario's Sam Mooibroek at 2:30 pm 2:30 pmwrap up the round robin on Thursday with Quebec's Felix Asselin at 9:30 MT and Saskatchewan's Mike McEwen at 7:30 pm 7:30 pmop three teams in each pool will move on to the playoffs. The one-seeds will face the two seeds for a spot in Saturday's 1-2 page playoff game. The game's losers will move on to play the three seeds for a place in Saturday's 3-4 place playoff game. The winner of the 1-2 page playoff game will advance to Sunday's finals, when the loser will face the winner of the 3-4 page playoff game in the semi-finals.
