To advance to the championship game, Kyllo/Griffith won 10-8 over Jaelyn Cotter/Jim Cotter (Vernon, BC) in the semifinals of the 2023 Penticton Mixed Doubles in Penticton, British Columbia, Canada; and won 7-2 over Holly Hafeli/Mitchell Kopytko (Kamloops, BC) in the quarterfinals. of the 2023 Penticton Mixed Doubles in Penticton, British Columbia, Canada;
 
Kyllo/Griffith finished 5-0 in the 20-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Kyllo/Griffith defeated Sharilyn Alexander/Scott Alexander (Penticton, BC) 9-2, then won 9-1 against Kristi Warner/Nick Warner (Penticton/Osoyoos, BC) and 11-5 against Hafeli/Kopytko. Kyllo/Griffith won 10-1 against Marilou Richter/Craig McLeod (Penticton, BC), then won 10-3 against Kitty Freeborn/Kevin Freeborn (Penticton, BC) in their final qualifying round match.
