Adam Fenton (Vancouver, BC) finished 5-3 in the 18-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Fenton defeated Adam Drewitz (Saskatoon, SK) 6-5, then won 11-3 against Timothy Marin (Saint John, NB). Fenton went on to lose 8-4 against Landan Rooney (Mississauga, ON). Fenton responded with a 8-6 win over Newfoundland / Labrador's Simon Perry. Fenton went on to lose 9-6 against Logan Ede (Martensville, SK). Fenton lost 7-6 to Johnson Tao (Edmonton, AB) where Fenton responded with a 11-2 win over Adam Bedard (Rouyn-Noranda, QC). Fenton won 8-7 against Nova Scotia's Calan MacIsaac in their final qualifying round match.

Fenton earned 5.625 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. For week 35 of the event schedule, Fenton did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Fenton ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
