To advance to the championship game, Walter won 8-2 over Darcy Robertson (Winnipeg , MB) in the semifinals of the 2022 Atkins Curling Supplies Classic in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada;
 
Walter finished 3-1 in the 8-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Walter defeated Terry Ursel (Neepawa, MB) 10-3, then won 6-4 against Emma Jensen (Winnipeg, MB) and 8-7 against Robertson. Walter went on to lose 9-7 against Peterson in their final qualifying round match.
 
Walter ranks 65th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 10.500 points earned so far this season.
