Bruce Mouat (Stirling, SCO) qualified for the 2023 Co-op Canadian Open playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 6-2 against Brad Gushue (St. John's, NL). of the 2023 Co-op Canadian Open in Camrose, Alberta;
 
Mouat finished 3-1 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Mouat lost 4-2 to Magnus Ramsfjell (Lillehammer, NOR), then responded with a 6-2 win over Tanner Horgan (Sudbury, NONT). Mouat won 8-5 against Yannick Schwaller (Geneva, SUI), then won 4-3 against Korey Dropkin (Duluth, MN) in their final qualifying round match.
 
Mouat earned 30.000 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the Co-op Canadian Open, remaining in 3rd place overall on the World Ranking Standings with a net gain of 26.25 after improving upon their best so far this season. Mouat ranks 6th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 242.500 points earned so far this season.
