Alina Kovaleva (Saint-Petersburg, RUS) run at the 2021 GSOC Masters came to an end in the semifinals with a 8-4 loss to Tracy Fleury (East St. Paul, MB). of the 2021 GSOC Masters in Oakville, Ontario; Kovaleva advanced through the quarterfinals with a 5-3 win over Rachel Homan (Ottawa, ON). of the 2021 GSOC Masters in Oakville, Ontario;
 
Kovaleva finished 3-2 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Kovaleva lost 4-3 to Eunjung Kim (Gangneung, KOR), droppimg another game, 8-5 to Isabella Wrana (Sundbyberg, SWE) where Kovaleva responded with a 9-2 win over Unchi Gim (Uijeongbu, KOR). Kovaleva won 7-4 against Satsuki Fujisawa (Kitami, JPN), then won 7-3 against Anna Hasselborg (Sundbyberg, SWE) in their final qualifying round match.
 
Kovaleva earned 50.490 world rankings points for their Top 3 finish in the GSOC Masters, remaining in 11th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with a net gain of 44.909 after improving upon their best so far this season.
