Brad Heidt (Kerrobert, SK) lost 5-1 to Saskatchewan's Jason Jacobson in the Final of the Regina Highland Cashspiel, held November 8 - 10, 2019 in Regina, Saskatchewan. To advance to the championship game, Heidt won 6-5 over Bruce Korte (Saskatoon, SK) in the semifinals of the 2019 Regina Highland Cashspiel in Regina, Saskatchewan; and won 6-5 over Steven Howard (Regina, SK) in the quarterfinals.
Heidt finished 3-2 in the 30-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Heidt lost 7-6 to Dustin Woloschuk (Regina, SK), droppimg another game, 8-4 to Korte where Heidt responded with a 5-2 win over Brecklin Gervais (Kronau, SK). Heidt won 5-3 against Josh Heidt (Kerrobert, SK), then won 8-6 against Saskatchewan's Michael Carss in their final qualifying round match.
With their runner-up finish at the Regina Highland Cashspiel, Heidt take home 14.350 world rankings points along with the $2,270CDN prize, moving up 157 spots the World Ranking Standings into 170th place overall with 18.254 total points. Heidt ranks 124th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 15.100 points earned so far this season.
