Brown finished 5-2 in the 28-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Brown defeated Yanan Guo (Neimeggu, CHN) 9-2, then went on to lose 7-4 against Teryn Berlando ( Calgary, AB). Brown responded with a 8-2 win over Selena Sturmay (Edmonton, AB). Brown went on to lose 8-3 against Min Ji Kim (Chuncheon, KOR). Brown responded with a 7-6 win over 's Kellie Stiksma. Brown won 4-3 against Maggie Wilson (Stirling, SCO) to advance to the C-Qualifier where they 7-5 against Jodi Vaughan (Calgary, AB) to advance to the playoff round. in their final qualifying round match.
 
Brown earned 27.504 world rankings points for their Top 3 finish in the Red Deer Curling Classic.
