Mouat won 8-2 against Cameron McNay (Greenacres, SCO), then won 12-3 against Callum Kinnear (Perth, SCO) and 7-3 against Ewan MacDonald (Inverness, SCO). Mouat won 7-5 against Ross Paterson (Glasgow, SCO), then won 6-5 against Muirhead in their final qualifying round match.
