In their opening game, Kiemele defeated Erin Titkai (Ottawa, ON) 6-3, then won 11-3 against Veronica Bernard (Kingston, ON). Kiemele went on to lose 6-2 against Lindsay Kastrau (Ottawa, ON). Kiemele lost 6-2 to Kira Brunton (Sudbury, ON) where Kiemele responded with a 11-3 win over Thea Coburn (Dundas, ON) in their final qualifying round match.
