MacPhee finished 3-1 in the 10 team WFG Jim Sullivan Curling Classic qualifying round, held December 1 - 3, 2017 at the Thistle St. Andrews Curling Club in Saint John, Canada. In their opening game, MacPhee defeated Robichaud 5-2, then went on to lose 8-3 against Heidi Hanlon (Saint John, NB). MacPhee responded with a 7-5 win over Colleen Pinkney (Halifax, NS). MacPhee won 5-2 against Sarah Mallais (Saint John, NB) in their final qualifying round match.
MacPhee earned 8.702 world rankings points for their Top 3 finish in the WFG Jim Sullivan Curling Classic, moving up 5 spots the World Ranking Standings into 51st place overall with 107.256 total points. MacPhee ranks 96th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 21.259 points earned so far this season.
