Steve Laycock (Saskatoon, SK) won 8-5 over Kevin Koe (Calgary, AB) in the Final of the Canad Inns Men's Classic , held October 16 - 19, 2015 at the Portage Curling Club in Portage La Prairie, Canada. To advance to the championship game, Laycock won 7-4 over Charley Thomas (Calgary, AB) in the semifinals of the 2015 Canad Inns Men's Classic in Portage La Prairie, Manitoba, Canada; and won 5-2 over Reid Carruthers (Winnipeg, MB) in the quarterfinals.
 
Laycock finished 4-0 in the 32-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Laycock defeated Andrew Irving (Winnipeg, MB) 6-5, then won 5-4 against Matt Dunstone (Winnipeg, MB) and 7-6 against Niklas Edin (Karlstad, SWE). Laycock won 8-6 against Mike McEwen (Winnipeg, MB) in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the Canad Inns Men's Classic Championship title, Laycock earned 71.994 world rankings points along with the $18,000CDN first prize cheque, moving up 1 spots the World Ranking Standings into 6th place overall with 481.020 total points. Laycock ranks 6th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 175.790 points earned so far this season.
