Scott McDonald (London, ON) won 5-1 over Richard Krell (Kitchener-Waterloo, ON) in the Final of the KW Fall Classic, held September 25 - 28, 2014 in Kitchener-Waterloo, Ontario. To advance to the championship game, McDonald won 5-2 over Aaron Squires (Kitchener-Waterloo, ON) in the semifinals of the 2014 KW Fall Classic in Kitchener-Waterloo, Ontario; and won 7-1 over Ontario's Darryl Prebble in the quarterfinals.
 
McDonald finished 3-0 in the 17-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, McDonald defeated Terry Corbin (Brantford, ON) 5-4, then won 4-3 against Krell and 8-4 against Squires in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the KW Fall Classic Championship title, McDonald earned 3.750 world rankings points along with the $2,300CDN first prize cheque, moving up 10 spots the World Ranking Standings into 61st place overall with 16.225 total points. McDonald ranks 38th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 3.750 points earned so far this season.
