To advance to the championship game, Ott won 5-4 over Stefanie Lawton (Saskatoon, SK) in the semifinals of the 2013 Prestige Hotels & Resorts Curling Classic in Vernon, British Columbia, Canada; and won 7-6 over Kelly Scott (Kelowna, BC) in the quarterfinals. of the 2013 Prestige Hotels & Resorts Curling Classic in Vernon, British Columbia, Canada;
 
Ott finished 5-1 in the 32-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Ott defeated Patti Knezevic (Prince George, BC) 8-3, then won 8-4 against Amber Holland (Regina, SK). Ott went on to lose 8-5 against Amy Nixon (Calgary, AB). Ott responded with a 8-5 win over Cheryl Bernard (Calgary, AB). Ott won 7-0 against Ayumi Ogasawara (Sapporo, JPN), then won 8-2 against Scott in their final qualifying round match.
 
With their runner-up finish at the Prestige Hotels & Resorts Curling Classic, Ott take home 25.000 world rankings points along with the $6,500CDN prize, moving up 3 spots the World Ranking Standings into 7th place overall with 161.460 total points. Ott ranks 2nd overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 40.060 points earned so far this season.
