Pierre Charette (Gatineau, PQ) qualified for the 2010 Challenge Casino de Charlevoix playoffs, set to play their quarterfinals match against Mike McEwen (Winnipeg, MB). of the 2010 Challenge Casino de Charlevoix in Clermont, Quebec;
 
Charette finished 3-2 in the 18-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Charette defeated Shawn Adams (Bridgewater, NS) 6-5, then won 6-4 against Randy Ferbey (St. Johns, NL). Charette went on to lose 8-7 against Serge Reid (Saguenay, PQ). Charette lost 8-6 to Chris Sutherland (Halifax, NS) where Charette responded with a 7-4 win over New Brunswick's Mike Kennedy in their final qualifying round match.
 
Charette earned 9.000 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the Challenge Casino de Charlevoix. For week 12 of the event schedule, Charette did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Charette ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
