Wayne Middaugh (Toronto, ON) finished 2-3 in the 32 team Meyers Norris Penny Prairie Classic qualifying round, held October 26 - 29, 2007 at the Portage Curling Club in Portage La Prairie, Canada. In their opening game, Middaugh defeated Mark Lukowich (Stonewall, MB) 12-2, then went on to lose 8-1 against Don Spriggs (Portage la Prairie, CAN). Middaugh lost 6-3 to Craig Brown (Madison, WI) where Middaugh responded with a 6-3 win over Daley Peters (Winnipeg, MB). Middaugh went on to lose 4-3 against Todd Birr (Mankato, MN) in their final qualifying round match.
