Bryce lost 5-4 to Grant Hardie (Dumfries, SCO) where Bryce responded with a 8-4 win over Stuart Taylor (Forfar, SCO). Bryce won 9-4 against Martin Uhd Gronbech (Hvidovre, DEN). Bryce went on to lose 7-3 against 's Ewan MacDonald in their final qualifying round match.
 
Bryce earned 2.557 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins, remaining in 126th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with 41.762 total points. Bryce ranks 112th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 24.423 points earned so far this season.
