I'm happy and excited about this move. Great for John and Camm. Going to be nice to see Brent back in Ontario and Craig on an Ontario rink. All the best guys.

wow. here i had just said john's team he was leaving was the best he'd had. this definitely tops it. no offense to tim and pat but brent and craig are phenomenal pick-ups. matt staying is..surprising. i guess i was reading the vibe between the 2 of them wrong.. john reuniting arguably the greatest front end in curling history is a great move on his part and should pay off big time

craig has curled and won events with john before. the only somewhat question is brent mixing in with this team . but this team could be really, really good. and , ofcourse it's fantastic to see craig back with a team full time.

i guess now though where does this leave koe. with no announcement of retirement or stepping back from him he's lost brent and mark. i wonder what he does now. who's he pick up

Bretts body language in the last few months clearly indicated that he was not happy with team Koe.
Good to see Craig back!

Especially at the Olympics! Brent living in Ontario will likely find it easier to be playing out of Ontario. Ontario needs some strong Men's teams.

If this is the new Team Koe i'll donate $1000 to the charity of your choice.

Will play out of Saskatchewan - easier route to the Brier, no Bottcher, etc.

Laycock and Moskowy already have Sask'n residency; Deni will set up temporary quarters and driver's license, etc. Koe will remain in Alberta but join his team for playdowns, slams, cash spiels, Briers, international invites, etc.

Good chance Sask'n will have a contender at next Brier.

I'm about 52% on Moskowy 3rd; 40% on Matt Dunstone; 8% someone else!

Are you saying there are curlers out there that would fraudulently set up residence just to curl out of province?

Unheard of.

if koe stays in province might we see a koe/bottcher team up? . for some reason i have a hard time believing koe will stay in province though

i guess, outside of bottcher and sturmay there really isn't much top level talent in alberta right now though

im thinking of free agents that he could recruit and stay at the top... some names that come to mind:

tim march
pat jansen
bj neufeld
denni neufeld
matt wozniak
braeden moskowy

brock is still curling but out of saskatchewan. he made it to the semi finals of the saskatchewan provincials this year curling with drew heidt.

i suppose brock could be an option though if kevin wants to stay in alberta since i think brock does still live in alberta and he does have a ton of talent so he'd be a good add.

you know..the news of flash moving to koe just pisses me off.

colton had a great season with his team. they were all relatively young. they had a bright future ahead of them if they stuck it out in my opinion. but now colton leaves to play for koe and it's over. it's just annoying. seeing a young team ripped up . i don't get why koe couldn't try and find someone from alberta. there is young talent there.

colton flasch meanwhile remains a mystery in a way. he said he left team latcock because he wanted to step back, he didn't want to curl as much. this season comes and he curls a lot still and he will curl a lot with koe. very obviously the story given was not really what happened.

Not sure any team has improved yet. .. time will tell

So Carruthers needs a third
Matt ?
Mike ?

Cotter ?

Laycock needs 1

Epping?

Advantage teams that aren’t mentioned above

No announcement that anyone left Laycock.

Epping already announced his new team.

Some pretty incredible lineup changes announced recently. Its great to see Craig Savill coming back to competitive curling full time.

Mike McEwen joining Carruthers is very interesting. Reid seems very easy to play with and both he and McEwen were always on the cusp of being in the top slot of the tour. Maybe together they can break through and get to world and the Olympics.

Not thrilled

unless tim and pat have no desire to curl this season or want to step back i'd be stunned if someone didn't pick them up. they're to good a front end not to.
