Going 7-1 through round robin, Gushue started round robin with wins over Newfoundland, Labrador's Ty Dilello 9-2, and British Columbia's Cameron de Jong 5-3. Then squeaked out a victory over Northern Ontario's John Epping 6-5, then controlling the game against Manitoba's Reid Carruthers 7-3. Then, they grabbed wins over New Brunswick's James Grattan 8-3 and Alberta's Kevin Koe 7-6. They defeated Nunavut's Shane Latimer 12-3 and then dropped their first tournament loss to Manitoba's Matt Dunstone 6-7. Grabbing a win over Alberta's Brad Jacobs 7-4 in the 1-2 page qualifier game. Matt Dunstone with Colton Lott at third, E.J. Harnden and Ryan Harnden on the front end will look to make the final once again, losing the final in 2023. Going 7-1 through round robin, opening the week with wins over Alberta's Kevin Koe 6-2, Nunavut's Shane Latimer 13-2 and British Columbia's Cameron de Jong 7-4. Suffering their only loss of the event to Northern Ontario's John Epping 7-8. They bounced back with wins over Newfoundland, Labrador's Ty Dilello 5-4, and New Brunswick's James Grattan 9-3. They wrapped up the round robin with wins over Manitoba's Reid Carruthers 8-6 and Newfoundland's Labrador's Brad Gushue 7-6. They defeated Saskatchewan's Mike McEwen 6-5 in the 1-2 page qualifier game. They have a series split on the season, playing each other twice. Gushue defeated Dunstone earlier this season at the Hearing Life Tour Challenge 7-3 but Dunstone defeated Gushue earlier this event 7-6 in round robin. The winner of this game will advance to the final on Sunday at 5:00 p.m. Pacific Time (PT). The loser will face Alberta's Brad Jacobs in the semifinal on Sunday at 12:00 p.m. PT.
