Bonot finished 13-4 in the 18-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Bonot defeated Claire Dubinsky (Thunder Bay, ON) 10-3, then went on to lose 7-4 against Hackner. Bonot responded with a 8-0 win over Myles Stevens (Thunder Bay, ON). Bonot went on to lose 6-5 against Gary Weiss (Thunder Bay, ON). Bonot responded with a 7-3 win over Denis Malette (Thunder Bay, ON). Bonot went on to lose 6-3 against Adams Jr.. Bonot responded with a 7-2 win over Andrew Sinclair (Thunder Bay, ON). Bonot won 7-3 against Rob Skinner (Thunder Bay, ON), then won 7-5 against Krista McCarville (Thunder Bay, ON) and 10-3 against Ashley Palmer (Thunder Bay, ON). Bonot won 8-2 against Chris Silver (Thunder Bay, ON), then won 7-6 against Ben Mikkelsen (Thunder Bay, ON) and 7-5 against Dylan Johnston (Thunder Bay, NO).
