To advance to the championship game, Ackerman won 6-5 over Mandy Selzer (Regina, SK) in the semifinals of the 2023 Nutana SaskTour Women's Spiel in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada; and won 11-3 over Nancy Martin (Saskatoon, SK) in the quarterfinals. of the 2023 Nutana SaskTour Women's Spiel in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada;
Ackerman finished 2-1 in the 19-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Ackerman defeated Michelle Englot (Regina, SK) 10-5, then went on to lose 7-2 against Jessica Mitchell (Saskatoon, SK). Ackerman responded with a 7-4 win over Sherry Anderson (Saskatoon, SK) in their final qualifying round match.
For winning the Nutana SaskTour Women's Spiel Championship title, Ackerman earned 18.750 world rankings points along with the $2,000CDN first prize cheque. Ackerman move up 2 spots after posting a net gain of 16.875 points improving upon their best 5 results so far this season, ranking 35th overall with 116.000 total points on the World Ranking Standings. Ackerman ranks 32nd overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 67.563 points earned so far this season.
