Tammy Dewar (Charlottetown, PEI) finished 1-3 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Dewar lost 7-2 to Jessica Daigle (Halifax, NS), droppimg another game, 9-5 to Ariel Traxler (Fairbanks , AK) where Dewar responded with a 7-6 win over Jane DiCarlo (Crapaud, PEI). Dewar went on to lose 7-2 against Laurie St-Georges (Montreal, QC) in their final qualifying round match.

Dewar earned 0.563 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins, moving up 17 spots the World Ranking Standings into 268th place overall with 1.210 total points. Dewar ranks 240th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 0.563 points earned so far this season.
