Tanya Hilliard (Halifax, NS) lost 7-5 to Laurie St-Georges (Montreal, QC) in the Final of the Bogside Cup, held December 8 - 10, 2023 at the Montague Curling Club in Montague, Canada. To advance to the championship game, Hilliard won 7-1 over Jessica Daigle (Halifax, NS) in the semifinals of the 2023 Bogside Cup in Montague, Prince Edward Island, Canada; and won 8-6 over Sylvie Quillian (Moncton, NB) in the quarterfinals. of the 2023 Bogside Cup in Montague, Prince Edward Island, Canada;
 
Hilliard finished 3-1 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Hilliard defeated Amanda Power (Crapaud, PEI) 7-5, then won 11-2 against Sydney Carver (Montague, PEI). Hilliard went on to lose 7-2 against St-Georges. Hilliard responded with a 5-4 win over Jane DiCarlo (Crapaud, PEI) in their final qualifying round match.
 
With their runner-up finish at the Bogside Cup, Hilliard take home 8.250 world rankings points along with the $2,000CDN prize, moving up 13 spots the World Ranking Standings into 82nd place overall with 32.681 total points. Hilliard ranks 92nd overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 18.750 points earned so far this season.
