To advance to the championship game, Homan won 5-3 over Kaitlyn Lawes (Winnipeg , MB) in the semifinals of the 2023 Pumps and Pressure Red Deer Curling Classic in Red Deer, Alberta; and won 7-3 over Beth Peterson (Winnipeg, MB) in the quarterfinals.
Homan finished 3-0 in the 23-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Homan defeated Amber Holland (Kronau, SK) 9-1, then won 6-2 against Sturmay to advance to the A-Qualifier where they 9-2 against Kayla Skrlik (Calgary, AB) to advance to the playoff round. in their final qualifying round match.
For winning the Pumps and Pressure Red Deer Curling Classic Championship title, Homan earned 45.000 world rankings points along with the $10,000CDN first prize cheque, moving up 1 spots the World Ranking Standings into 3rd place overall with 377.875 total points. Homan ranks 3rd overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 193.750 points earned so far this season.
