Chaelynn Kitz/Brayden Stewart (Wawota, SK) qualified for the 2023 Canadian Mixed Doubles Curling Championship playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 6-5 against Rachel Homan/Tyler Tardi (Ottawa, ON). of the 2023 Canadian Mixed Doubles Curling Championship in Sudbury, Ontario;
 
Kitz/Stewart finished 6-1 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Kitz/Stewart defeated Lynn Kreviazuk/David Mathers (Ottawa, ON) 8-3, then won 7-5 against Karlee Everist/Bryce Everist (Halifax, NS) and 6-5 against Paige Papley/Evan van Amsterdam (Edmonton, AB). Kitz/Stewart won 11-6 against Jessica Wiseman/Trent Skanes (St.John's, NL), then won 9-8 against Lauren Cheal/Greg Cheal (Lennoxville, QC) and 7-4 against Kimberly Tuck/Wayne Tuck (Strathroy, ON). Kitz/Stewart went on to lose 7-4 against Nancy Martin/Tyrel Griffith (Saskatoon, SK) in their final qualifying round match.
 
Kitz/Stewart earned 30.000 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the Canadian Mixed Doubles Curling Championship.
