Kaitlyn Lawes (Winnipeg , MB) lost 7-4 to Jennifer Jones (Winnipeg, MB) in the Final of the HearingLife Tour Challenge Tier 1, held October 17 - 21, 2023 in Niagara Falls, Ontario. To advance to the championship game, Lawes won 6-4 over Kerri Einarson (Gimli, MB) in the semifinals of the 2023 HearingLife Tour Challenge Tier 1 in Niagara Falls, Ontario; and won 7-4 over Eun ji Gim (Uijeongbu, KOR) in the quarterfinals.
 
Lawes finished 2-2 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Lawes lost 8-7 to Isabella Wrana (Sundbyberg, SWE), droppimg another game, 8-2 to Satsuki Fujisawa (Kitami, JPN) where Lawes responded with a 6-3 win over Tabitha Peterson (St. Paul, MN). Lawes won 8-6 against Marianne Roervik (Lillehammer, NOR) in their final qualifying round match.
 
Lawes earned 55.000 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the HearingLife Tour Challenge Tier 1.
