Hackner went on to lose 8-7 against Wes Craig (Nanaimo, BC). Hackner responded with a 7-2 win over Glen Hudy (Yellowknife, NT). Hackner went on to lose 8-1 against Keith Ryan (Labrador City, NL). Hackner responded with a 9-2 win over Phil Gorveatt (Montague, PEI) in their final qualifying round match.
Hackner ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
