Anderson finished 3-1 in the 13-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Anderson defeated Kristy McDonald (Winnipeg, MB) 8-3, then went on to lose 7-4 against Lawes. Anderson responded with a 7-0 win over Grace Beaudry (Winnipeg, MB). Anderson won 8-5 against Rhonda Varnes (Portage la Prairie, MB) in their final qualifying round match.
