Gim won 7-4 against Minseo Kim (Bongmyeong, KOR), then won 10-7 against Eunjung Kim (Gangneung , KOR). Gim went on to lose 6-5 against Seungyoun Ha (Chuncheon, KOR). Gim responded with a 9-5 win over Shin. Gim went on to lose 5-4 against Ha in their final qualifying round match.
 
With their runner-up finish at the Korean Curling Championships, Gim take home 13.750 world rankings points. Gim gained 166.704 points improving upon their best 2 events, though dropped 8 spots on the World Ranking Standings into 8thplace overall with 166.704 total points.
