ByeongJin Jeong (Seoul, KOR) finished 8-1 in the 8-team qualifying round. . Jeong won 9-4 against Yeongseok Jeong (Gangwo, KOR), then won 7-3 against Jeong and 7-3 against Kim in their final qualifying round match.

For winning the Korean Curling Championships Championship title, Jeong earned 15.000 world rankings points. Jeong gained 44.261 points improving upon their best 2 events, though dropped 59 spots on the World Ranking Standings into 59thplace overall with 44.261 total points.
