Rykov won 12-4 against Liechtenstein's Matt Lukas in their final qualifying round match.

With their fourth place finish at the European Curling Championships C-Division, Rykov take home 2.813 world rankings points, moving up 62 spots the World Ranking Standings into 243rd place overall with 5.485 total points.
