Knapp finished 2-1 in the 14-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Knapp lost 9-4 to Jason Ackerman (Regina, SK), then responded with a 7-5 win over Chambers. Knapp won 4-3 against Sam Wills (Regina, SK) in their final qualifying round match.
