Scheidegger went on to lose 10-3 against Tracy Fleury (East St. Paul, MB). Scheidegger responded with a 8-6 win over Rachel Homan (Ottawa, ON) in their final qualifying round match.

Scheidegger earned 17.813 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins, remaining in 26th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with a net gain of 3.938 after improving upon their best so far this season. Scheidegger ranks 26th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 68.244 points earned so far this season.
