Waye/Retchless finished 3-0 in the 16 team GOLDLINE Valleyfield Mixed Doubles qualifying round, held October 15 - 17, 2021 at the Valleyfield Curling Club in , Quebec. In their opening game, Waye/Retchless defeated Lauren Wasylkiw/Shane Konings (Unionville, ON) 8-4, then won 7-5 against Sophie Sanscartier/Stephane Brabant (Montreal, QC) and 10-5 against Tremblay/Lanoue in their final qualifying round match.

With their runner-up finish at the GOLDLINE Valleyfield Mixed Doubles, Waye/Retchless take home 22.358 world rankings points along with the $640CDN prize, remaining in 697th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with a net gain of 20.064 after improving upon their best so far this season.
