Purdy responded with a 8-2 win over Sawer Kaeser (Fort Smith, NT). Purdy won 9-3 against Liam Marin (Saint John, NB), then won 9-5 against Jacob Horgan (Sudbury, NONT) and 10-8 against Greg Cheal (Lennoxville, QC) in their final qualifying round match.
 
Purdy earned 5.726 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. For week 27 of the event schedule, Purdy did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Purdy ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
