Hollie Duncan (Toronto , ON) finished 2-0 in the 15-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Duncan defeated Susan Froud (Stroud, ON) 9-5, then won 6-5 against Lauren Horton (Waterloo, ON) in their final qualifying round match.

For winning the CurlON Women's Cash Spiel Championship title, Duncan earned 20.150 world rankings points along with the $2,500CDN first prize cheque, moving up 5 spots the World Ranking Standings into 36th place overall with 136.887 total points. Duncan ranks 39th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 84.782 points earned so far this season.
