In their opening game, Comeau defeated Scott Jones (Moncton, NB) 4-1, then went on to lose 8-6 against Rick Rowsell (St. John's, NL). Comeau responded with a 6-5 win over Trevor Hanson (Oromocto, NB). Comeau went on to lose 6-3 against Jongduk Park (Gangwon, KOR) in their final qualifying round match.
Comeau earned 8.001 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the Jim Sullivan Curling Classic, moving up 32 spots the World Ranking Standings into 155th place overall with 22.545 total points. Comeau ranks 141st overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 15.941 points earned so far this season.
