Satsuki Fujisawa (Kitami, JPN) lost 7-2 to Yilun Jiang (Beijing, CHN) in the Final of the Hokkaido Bank Curling Classic, held August 1 - 4, 2019 at the Hokkaido Bank Curling Stadium in Sapporo, Japan. To advance to the championship game, Fujisawa won 7-6 over Tracy Fleury (East St. Paul, MB) in the semifinals

Fujisawa finished 3-1 in the 10-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Fujisawa defeated Momoha Tabata (Sapporo, JPN) 6-4, then won 8-5 against Jiang. Fujisawa went on to lose 8-4 against Sayaka Yoshimura (Sapporo, JPN). Fujisawa responded with a 8-3 win over Vlada Rumiantseva (Moscow, RUS) in their final qualifying round match.

With their runner-up finish at the Hokkaido Bank Curling Classic, Fujisawa take home 32.577 world rankings points along with the $6,251CDN prize, moving up 1 spots the World Ranking Standings into 7th place overall with 306.157 total points.
