Victoria Moiseeva (St. Petersburg, RUS) won 8-0 over Dailene Pewarchuk (Victoria, BC) in the Final of the Driving Force Abbotsford Cashspiel, held November 24 - 26, 2017 at the Abbotsford Curling Club in Abbotsford, Canada. To advance to the championship game, Moiseeva won 7-6 over Corryn Brown (Kamloops, BC) in the semifinals of the 2017 Driving Force Abbotsford Cashspiel in Abbotsford, British Columbia, Canada; and won 7-5 over Karla Thompson (Kamloops, BC) in the quarterfinals. of the 2017 Driving Force Abbotsford Cashspiel in Abbotsford, British Columbia, Canada;

Moiseeva finished 3-0 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Moiseeva defeated Kayte Gyles (New Westminster/Cloverdale, BC) 7-1, then won 5-2 against Holly Donaldson (Victoria/Vancouver, BC) and 7-2 against Patti Knezevic (Lake Country, BC) in their final qualifying round match.

For winning the Driving Force Abbotsford Cashspiel Championship title, Moiseeva earned 26.010 world rankings points along with the $6,000CDN first prize cheque. Moiseeva move up 1 spots after posting a net gain of 24.828 points improving upon their best results so far this season, ranking 27th overall with 250.821 total points on the World Ranking Standings. Moiseeva ranks 14th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 156.323 points earned so far this season.
