Willsey won 4-3 against Corey Chester (Victoria, BC). Willsey went on to lose 7-4 against Aaron Squires (Waterloo, ON) in their final qualifying round match.

Willsey earned 0.675 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins, moving up 227 spots the World Ranking Standings into 515th place overall with 0.675 total points. Willsey ranks 472nd overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 0.675 points earned so far this season.
