Tom Brewster (Aberdeen, SCO) won 5-4 over David Murdoch (Lockerbie, SCO) in the Final of the Go Coco Scottish Curling Championships, held February 13 - 20, 2016 at the Nelson Curling Club in Nelson, Canada.

Brewster finished 8-1 in the 10-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Brewster defeated Moray Combe (Perth, SCO) 7-4, then went on to lose 5-4 against Grant Hardie (Dumfries, SCO). Brewster responded with a 6-3 win over Kyle Smith (Perth, SCO). Brewster won 8-3 against Cameron Bryce (Border, SCO), then won 7-6 against Bruce Mouat (Edinburgh, SCO) and 5-4 against Ewan MacDonald (Inverness, SCO). Brewster won 8-2 against Murdoch, then won 8-3 against Robin Brydone (Perth, SCO) and 4-2 against Scott MacLeod (Aberdeen, SCO) in their final qualifying round match.

For winning the Go Coco Scottish Curling Championships Championship title, Brewster earned 38.125 world rankings points. For week 27 of the event schedule, Brewster did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Brewster ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
