Shackleton finished 3-2 in the 18-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Shackleton defeated Caitlin Romain (Vancouver, BC) 8-4, then went on to lose 8-3 against Russia's Olga Zharkova. Shackleton responded with a 7-5 win over Harrison. Shackleton went on to lose 6-5 against Julie Hastings (Toronto, ON). Shackleton responded with a 9-5 win over Ontario's Shannon Kee in their final qualifying round match.
 
Shackleton earned 2.250 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the KW Fall Classic, moving up 67 spots the World Ranking Standings into 127th place overall with 2.438 total points. Shackleton ranks 40th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 2.250 points earned so far this season.
